We got this bed for our firetruck crazy 2 year old... who was still sleeping in our bed every night. We thought it might help encourage him to sleep in his own room. When he saw it online, his eyes lit up - "That MY firetruck!" He helped me build it when it arrived, and that only took about 10 minutes. Extremely well made and solid bed. I can't get over how sturdy it is. Absolutely no wobble like other toddler beds we tried for our daughter. Anyways, he insisted on pretending to sleep in it right then... and has actually slept in it every single night since. It is low enough that when he wakes up, he can safely get out of it and play with his toys - usually waking us up for a wooden food breakfast that he has cooked. A few times he has woken up in the middle of the night and started crying... but he won't leave the firetruck. He insists that you "nuggle" him in the firetruck. So, I've slept in it with him a few times. Even though I well exceed the weight limit, the bed is s

Our son was very excited to be in his big boy fire truck bed. He is 2 1/2 and has been ready to get out of his crib for a while. It has not improved his sleep behavior problems, nor did we expect it too! He is 39 inches tall and about 37 pounds and the bed is verging on being too small, but we hope to get about 6 more months out of it. Very easy to put together with a power drill, 4 sides and the mattress support board which all fit together easily. We are still using his bumper from the crib for extra padding along the walls of the bed which our son kept thrashing into in his sleep, but I think all toddler beds have hard frames so theres no way around that. Read more

This bed is even cuter than the picture. He is able to get in and out fairly easily. This product is very sturdy and well-made. 2 of the screws used to fasten on one of the decorative boards were too short and I needed to buy larger ones, but after that everything was fine. It took very little time to put together with 2 adults (one holding the boards at the proper angles and the other screwing it together). I believe this bed will gets lots of use now and in the future. Read more

I am very happy with this fire truck bed. It is well built and actually more attractive than the photograph would indicate. We gave this bed to my son when he was about 2.5 years old. He loved it and still loves it six months later. The bed is so sturdy that my wife often hops in to read a bedtime story. I highly recommend this bed to even the most hard to please parents. Read more

We bought 2 firetruck toddler beds for our 2 year old twins. They were very easy to put together and are extremely sturdy. Our boys love them and are sleeping better than ever. Read more
