When I 1st saw the crib in the store I fell in love with it. I had to have it ! There are some negatives on the crib , I did not like that the front rail didn't go down I was always on my tippy toes when getting the baby or putting her in. I did have a problem tieing the bumper to the back part of the crib but manageg with great thinking (pushed ties through cracks)also a baby monitor dont go well on this crib and I got a few scratches trying to put one on it . The back panel seems very thin cause when my baby kicks and she does that alot it is extremely loud and sounds like she will kick through it. I really like the look of the crib but had I known all this I would have bought a different one. I feel that if I pay ALOT which we did for a crib it shouldnt have this many faults. I love this crib. My husband and I bought this crib for our daughter when she was a couple of months old. I agree with the reviewer who said to go to the store before you buy it, so I knew what the color would be. As for the solid back, my daughter kicked at it too (she is now 3) and it held up. She also would sometimes fall out of it(daybed) but the bed is so low that she didnt even notice and slept thru. Now we are converting it to a full size, Ive been really happy with this crib and its absolutely beautiful. I would give this crib a 10 if I could. If I had to complain, it would be that it doesnt come with the full size frame. I think it was worth every penny! Im sad that it was discontinued! And for those of you who complained about having to buy white pieces to match, paint some wood stain over it to give it the same antiqued look!! Read more

I love this crib! We didn't get it until my daughter was almost one! I have had to fight with her to get to sleep every night but once I got this crib she begged to go to bed! That Made it all worth it right there! We just turned it into a toddler bed took like five minutes and it looks really cute. There are a few things to think about on is when I got it there was nothing to stop her from teething on it so I am going to have to match the paint and touch it up when I convert it to a Full size. I also got the whole collecting and have had no problems with any of the pieces even when we had to move them across state they still look just as good and sturdy as when we first got them. Another thing is finding a bed rail that fights it. But we can live without that it isn't that far off the ground and she feel out last night and never noticed that she did. Slept right through it! I purchased this set because it had the look I wanted (although I changed my bedding three times after I got it). I do have to say, it is beautiful and very simple to put together. Where it is lacking for me is in the quality. They did a VERY poor job of placing the bolts on the front of the crib. It totally ruins the look. The door do not line up on the armoire and the holes for the shelves inside do not allow you to use it to hang up the clothes and still utilize the two shelves. I have had to had more holes drilled to allow proper placement of the shelves and still be able to use the clothing bar. I am not sorry I purchased the set, I just wish they had taken just a few more moments to think out the overall quality. Oh, and I had to change my bedding because they called it antique white, but it is yellow. No doubt about it yellow and the color of the pieces are very inconsistant. Read more

we purchased this beautiful looking "solid wood" antique "white" bed and were thrilled at the longevity it would provide with the conversions. however, white???? butter yellow yes, white..not so much. the crib was easy to install, however, i was disappointed that the bolts were visible in the front, there is no place to tie a bumper pad, there is no place to put a teething rail and we will now have to repaint the footboard due to our daughter literally gnawing off that paint. also, the front rail doesn't come down, making it very difficult to put the baby in and out and to change the linen. regardless of these facts, we were set to deal with it and recently went to purchase the armoire and matching hutch to top the changing table that we already purchased. we found out the set was discontinued!!!! the new set is not the same or even near the same color. now what??? also we spent all of this money and now have nothing to match to it...style or color. how aggravating.
