I was iffy about getting this because of the mediocre reviews here and on [...]. However, I bit the bullet and got it. #1) There are no bending parts, so I think that reviewer must be confusing this one for other model. #2) I was worried that a plate stuck on with velcro would leave room for little fingers to pry it loose, but it doesn't have finger room. It's darkened so my son completely ignores the buttons he can't see! I did have to get the guard for large tvs since this one wasn't quite long enough to get all the buttons plus room for the velcro, but I still give it an A+. Make sure you've got a flat surface to stick to. Once it's on, it completely blends into the tv and looks like it's always been there. (We have a 42" plasma and ended up finally with the tv guard for large tvs) Read more

I bought this to put over the buttons of my regular tv set since it was the right size. My two year old son has never tried to pull it off and I don't even realise that there are buttons there... when he goes over to other people's he drives us crazy constantly at the buttons, and then I realise I could be living the same thing daily at home. Thanks to this device I don't. I hide the remotes and have peace. Easy and simple to install, unobtrusive on the tv. I am very happy with this product and plan to buy one for a friend. Read more

We bought this to keep our 16 month old son from constantly changing the channels on the tv. Well, we followed directions and let the velcro set overnight and the next morning he was able to pull it off almost immediately. Not worth the almost [$] we paid for it. And to top it off my DH wasn't too pleased about putting velcro on our new tv. Read more

I got this product because my daughter was turning the TV on and off, changing the channels, etc. I thought that it would keep her from doing that and it did but she ended up breaking the front part bending it because it is just thin plastic. I do not recommend this product. Read more
