I purchased this item to shred years of built of files, junk mail, etc. as I was packing up my house. The end result of shredded papers is amazing! So small! We used the paper as padding to pack up the house. We had soooooooo much shredding to do (an entire day's worth and then some)! The machine overheated twice over the course of constant shredding throughout the day. To me this was NO big deal considering the load. It just need a break, and then it was like new. I would definitely recommend to anyone. It's value is far greater than it's price, trust me! The only reason for 4 stars in durability is because though its been load tested, it hasn't been time tested. If I'm still raving two years from now, then its worth the five there! Read more

So far this shredder seems to be doing a good job; I have used it for only 2 weeks but it is relatively quiet and very efficient-can take about 6 sheets of paper. The shreddings are very small and confetti-like, so if you are really concerned about security this is the one for you. The rolling wheels with handle comes in handy for moving it around-did not think that would be a necessary "perk" but it is nice to have. I only hope it will continue to work as well-I have had one shredder prior to this which "died" after a year or so of relatively light use. Time will tell. . . . PROS: 1) Portable 2) Pretty blue light like a cell phone when plugged in 3) reverse shred for jams.CONS: 1) Overheats frequently. 2) Only one small slot for credit cards, which must be standard sized. 3) Does not handle labels (i.e. "free" address labels) well. 4) When the basket is close to full, it is impossible to remove it from the front without spilling some of the tiny shredds all over the place. I now put the whole shredder in a large garbage bag before opening the front. 5) Really only handles about 5 sheets of regular paper at once 6) Pricey for what it does. Read more

If after you have shredded something with this you can put it back together it would be a miracle. This thing is great. I love it. I used it for almost 4 hours straight, filling a big garbage bag and I had no issues with it. This is a great product, a must buy if you are trying to protect the things you need to. I love that it has a handle for me to roll it around. This also shipped super fast. Overstock is great and I would recommend everyone should shop here. I tell anyone I talk to about it. Read more

Great value! I have been using the shredder for a month now with no issues. I had quite a bit of shredding accumilated, so it has gotten almost daily use. I love the wheels and handle to move it from home office to where ever I happen to be sitting and shredding (ie - in front of the tv). Locking drawer keeps it from falling out during movement. Would - and have - recomend it! Read more
