Graphics: Breathtaking 9.5/10
The graphics great. The rumors of an upgraded Halo 2, or Halo 2 like graphics is not true. With smooth framerates and stunning effects, you will be taken aback. Take some time to watch the backgrounds and environments and the detail of that went into these levels. This is after you clear everything that moves.

Sound: Amazing 10/10
The sounds, music, effects, and voices take you immediately into the game. Surround sound is a must so you can hear the shots, shouts, and footsteps of the your opponents in this game. The score for this game heightens you senses, and truly brings you into the game.

Gameplay: Spectacular 9/10
Smooth animations, large levels, smart enemies and A.I., big battles, and 4-player co-op = awesome. Without giving anything away, this is some great storytelling that gives way to some genuine wow moments.

Replay Value Amazing 10/10
Multiplayer. That is all I have to say. This game has high replay value. Choose which way you would like

Halo 3 is, without question, a game that is worth the $60 you spend on it. It has excellent replay value. The campaign and the multiplayer are certain to keep you hooked for hours. The graphics are good but not was expecting from a Halo game. The gameplay is still much the same as it was in the first and second game. Overall it's a good game but a few things keep it from being great. While the storyline is good it's a bit too familiar and feels way too much like the first and second halo,in fact many maps feelidentical to some of the first halo's maps. Multiplayer has remained mostly the same which isn't really a bad thing but it's not really a good thing either. If you're looking for a game that brings new things into the fps genre than Halo is probably not for you. And just like any game halo has glitches and glitchers that ruin gameplay but Halo seems to have acessive amount, if glitchers bother you I wouldn't recomend buying it until after it's patched a few times. And of course wh

        Pros
Good graphics
Great music
Nice cutscenes
Frequent auto-save checkpoints keeps you moving along even if you die
Interesting storyline (even if somewhat contrived in places)
Campaign gameplay is pretty fun (while it lasts)
Decent level design

Cons
Way too short
End "boss" battle is a complete letdown
No real bosses to speak of (just masses of same old handful of monster types)
Only one savegame (switch to campaign mode from solo? change difficulty setting? lose your save)
Nothing new for competitive multiplayer (same old run, shoot, jump, die, respawn... been doing that for 15+ years)
Missions have far too much backtracking (makes it boring... "I've already been here")
Too few types of enemies (it's boring to kill the same handful of monster types over and over again)
Constantly reloading is annoying (you'd think by now we'd be past shotguns with a handful of rounds)
Constantly searching for weapons after running out of ammo is annoying
Entire "veto" system is archaic and stupid

I bought this game when it first came out a few years ago, and you would think I would have put it down now, but still Halo3 keeps calling me to play it over and over again. What's so addictive about are the multiplayer options and the overall fun you get out of this game. The controls are relatively easy to get used to, the graphics are not super realistic, but the gameplay is second to none. Where other games do well is the graphics, but they they sacrifice on what can be done in the game by the character. In Halo3 you are pretty much free to roam just about anywhere in the maps and do just about anything with your player (jumping, move certain objects, crash things, blow up things, etc.) that's within the engine limits.

Here's what I find most intriguing and fun about Halo3:

Story - The Halo story has a huge following due to the fact that the story is inspiring and makes you feel as if you are the Spartan - the ultimate hero of our world.

Challenging - You can select different gr

What a game... I'm still playing it pretty "hard-core" and am still loving it. Overall I found it to be an epic game that I am still and going to be (for a while) addicted to.
The gameplay is quit impressive and adds a solid number of weapons to the collection as well as a few extra cool grenade-like weapons that allow provide an extra shield, a shield regenerator and air lifting. Those are very helpful, though a little tough to get used to. 'Not to mention the extra vehicles... There is now a little 4-wheeler which is a TON of fun. They could easily make a racing game type in Halo 3 which I would personally LOVE playing. I don't think it goes any faster than any other vehicle in the game, but it's (small) size makes it look like your goin a hundred miles an hour around the maps.

I thought the campaign was good. It had a great amount of detail and was a fair deal of fun. HOWEVER, it was WAY too short. I think I only got a good 5 hours of solid game-play out of the campaign... Though I
