I love this oven. I used to have a black and decker toaster oven that recently died and this is soooo much better. I have cooked frozen pizzas, a 6 lb. turkey, cookies, toast, bagels, chicken--everything I would normally cook in my regular oven turns out great in this oven and cooks much quicker. I love that it preheats so quickly. It takes about 4 min. to get to 350 degrees and 5 min. to get to 450 compared to 15-20 min. for my regular oven. Therefore, you're saving a lot of energy. Foods are also done much quicker if you use the convection function. I like the digital display so I can see exactly how much time is left. The oven actually turns off when the timer goes off, which I'm not sure I actually like because I'm used to setting the timer for the least amount of time to check the food, but it's not really a huge problem and I'm used to it now. You just have to know that when the timer goes off, you need to check and add more time if necessary and restart it. BTW, the tim

I had a giant Delonghi that lasted 10 years that broiled baked and had lots of room. Had a hard time finding an Electric oven that was large and not just a glorified toaster oven. The Breville toasts garlic bread with cheese, bakes pies, cakes and roasts, and makes great home made pizza all to my satisfaction. I read reviews that the outside got hot. The top does but I find this to be a great place to warm my dishes before serving as I hate cold plates and cold food. It was mentioned in other reviews that the manual says not to use tinfoil in it. I have and had no problems. I imagine they are worried about it coming in contact with the heating elements. If one is careful this is easily avoided. The only issue I have had is getting off some burned on cheese just above the door opening. Tried every which way but cannot get stain off.
I'm what's known as a picky person and details matter. I am totally satisfied with this oven and hope it stands the test of time. I have had it about 4 mo

I spent a good amount of time searching the internet and looking in stores to find an acceptable replacement for the toaster oven we had been using. Nothing seemed to be on the par with that oven, UNTIL I came across the Breville. After some serious contemplation I ordered the Breville [...] We've had it only two weeks now, but I've cooked a variety of foods in it, all done to perfection and equal to or superior to what we deemed as normal from our previous oven. I read with interest the comments by other reviewers of the "problem" with using aluminum foil or glass bake ware in the oven. Timidly I prepared some of the meals using foil and/or glass. Everything went just fine with no difficulties or snags. I kept the foil well away from the heating elements and I used Pyrex® oven proof bake ware. We haven't touched the big oven once since receiving the Breville. I am very happy with this outstanding product. The only fault I could find was that there is no option to cook without

So far this toaster oven has cooked a pizza and done toast just as the 5 star ratings suggested. My long term concern is I paid a very high price for a toaster with electronic controls that has only a one year warranty and gets very hot. Because of the price/warranty
issue I'm not making any recommendations. Read more

We've just received this toaster oven, so I can't address things like cleaning, but so far it's a wonderful addition to the kitchen. The adjustable racks are a real plus, and the ability to do so many things (bake, roast, broil, toast) is very welcome. We have a large commercial range, so heating up that great big stove for a pot pie seems like a real waste. This little oven holds a decent amount and seems great for day-to-day cooking of anything smaller than a Thanksgiving turkey. Read more
