Ok, I know alot of people have made reviews saying how it falls apart or the stickers come off easily. I'm sorry but the stickers don't come off that easily, that's just not true. It sounds alot like people buy it and give it to someone who scrambles it and takes the stickers off and puts them back on in correct order. As for it falling apart, well it is true that if you really try to turn it hard while it's not properly aligned, that will likely happen. Me however, I've had this thing for 1 day so far and I've beaten it "3 times" already (no cheating) and no stickers are even close to peeling and it hasn't busted on me once. Stickers do start to peel after a month or even a few weeks of good use though. Please take note that turning the very outter layers isn't always smooth, and if not held properly it does droop a little. Just what I wanted from the next cube in line after the Rubik's Revenge. The cube turns very well, but that is also a problem, as the internal screws allow the whole cube to bow and lean almost a whole half a centimetre in non-cardinal directions. Its about the same size as the Revenge for a relative comparison for those wanting to know. Due to the small size of the cube, the cubies are pretty tiny. The cube RARELY locks up on turns, unlike its predecessor. Quite a challenge to solve, and incredibly time-consuming. I would definitely recommend this cube for those that just want to have a go at the 555 but don't want to spend large amounts money or buy from other countries. The ToysRUs cube still gets the job done great. And watch for those annoying tredges parities! ughh! Read more

This is great for those tired of solving the 3x3 for the 8 millionth time. Once you learn to solve it, it's still fun going through all the motions to solve it. The stickers are really bad, though. Within a day they were peeling up really bad on the edges. I replaced them with vinyl stickers (search for the word "cubesmith") and the new stickers are holding up perfect. Read more

I think the 4x4 is much better. The cubies on the 5x5 are very small. Each layer is very hard to turn, and if forced, then cubies fall out. Stickers started coming off the first day, and I had to super glue them back on. It's easier to solve than the 4x4 because there are no parity errors, and the center pieces are always countered on the 3x3/5x5 (the 4x4 doesn't have center pieces!). I'm glad I have it to complete my collection, but it's more of a show piece. It's definitely not a speed cube! Turn this one fast and it'll break! It's still fun though. Read more

My son had just gotten as a gift the 4x4 rubik's cube, and was so excited to have mastered it,and was curious as to whether he had figured out the 5x5 also known as professor cube without having touched one. I came to the website and found one. He had it mastered immediately. When he called his older brother-in-law who had originally taught him how to do the original 3x3 cube, he was so excited to be teaching him how to deal with the 5x5. I love this product and will keep buying it if it breaks, which it won't, it withstands a lot. The only down side is that it doesn't unclog toilets. :( Besides that is a great item and anyone who doesn't get frustrated easily and loves long lasting challenging puzzles should get it. Read more

I purchased the product as a xmas gift of my 12 year old son. I was so excited to have found it and yet so dissapointed when i received it. As soon as he received the gift he began to play with the rubiks cube.Within 10 minutes i noticed that 3 stickers has fallen off nedless to say by the end of the day a quater of the stickers were gone.For the price i paid I expected a way better product..It is now sitting as a display because the stickers are mostly gone... This is a very fun version of the cube that requires solving 9 center pieces and 9 edge pieces on each face. It is challenging, but solvable. It falls apart too easily. My daughter's boyfriend can solve it, and he enjoys the 5x5 a lot more than the two below it. Yet, he cannot solve it anymore, because the pieces have started to fall off in mid turn. It is quite diappointing in this aspect. Read more
