What a great classic toy!

My mother-in-law bought this for our son's 1st birthday, she says every little boy needs a Tonka truck and boy is she right!! He is only 1 but he loves to push this toy around and it's actually working great as a walker! He pulls himself up on his truck and pushes it around stepping all over the house! The little hat is adorable when he gets it on his head and he loves to play with the little toys. Daddy also loves to sit him in the dump part and drives him around and he just laughs and laughs. This Christmas my twin 2 year old boys received one of these and a Mega Blocks CAT dump/scoop truck. They have put many miles on them inside and out. The diffence is VERY clear - for [$] more the Tonka truck has a lifetime guarantee and still looks the same as it did 3 months ago; we are on the way to return the Mega Blocks truck as the wheels are popping off when driven and the scoop is hard to operate/keep in its place. Planning to go with Tonka for the replacement and future gifts. The big size if this one is great too - have 2 of the smaller Tonka dump trucks but they are not used as often. Read more

My son, who is 4 years old, got this on his first birthday (my mom got it for him) and while I thought it a bit too 'old' for him, I'm SO glad she got it! He had plently of fun w/it when he was one, filling it and dumping it, riding around in it,etc. It is still in perfect shape, even the hard hat & tools! My son loves it, and uses it every day. My neices love it too! They're 3,6 and 7 and they all love to push each other around it it =) You cannot get a better toy, especially for the money! Read more

I Love, love, love this truck. it is durable, and sturdy. My son has had his for at least two years and it still looks brand new. So for Christmas I bought my nephew one also. My son (and daughters) love this truck. Santa delivered and it got a lot of indoor use all winter delivering anything and everything from one room to another.
