This product arrived in pretty poor packaging. My first impression was poor also due to the fact that a) it was well-used, had scrapes and what not, plus dirt and grease. b) the DVD refused to open. The unit looked very much like it had been used in a frat house for a few years and the 2004 sticker on the back confirmed that this was more than 'open box' or 'briefly used' as is supposedly indicated by the 'refurbished' icon. I shall return it and hope for a replacement that actually meets the basic working requirements, and is sans the 2 years of household grime. Read more

I purchased this player because of the TVG feature but was disappointed with its operation. The menu settings on the remote would not go to the second level where the TVG options could be set. It is stuck on the setting in which it was shipped. The player has also locked up twice in two weeks where no buttons would work including power and had to be unplugged to reset. Read more
