This is my 3rd Akai tv in the past 7 years and I love them all. I have a Samsung 27 inch HDTV and this new #32 inch Akai is just as good. Each of the factors described have worked with no problems. I got a great price saving over 100 dollars under another 32 inch HDTV. I have total confidence in my Akai. Every other Akai tv I have had in the past gave me no problems and gave them to friends when I was ready to upgrade to another one. Now I have the Samsung in the bedroom and the Akai 32 inch in the living room and I am in "HD heaven". I would buy another one anytime. Read more

I'm very happy with my purchase. This is our first buy at overstock.com. We visited several electronics stores, and when we finally made a "buy" decision, the item had to be picked up 120 miles away. So, I checked out overstock.com. I had intended to spend less, but after seeing the prices in the stores and what we could buy for another $100 or so, decided to get this. The picture is perfect, the dvd player is excellent. It was a great deal and a fine product. Read more

I purchased this television as a wedding gift for my cousin. The television is defective. After 20 minutes of playing it shuts off. He called the company to fix it and they won't b/c it's a refurbished TV and overstock will only refund me 50% b/c the purchase is over 20 days. The product is horrible and so is overstock's policy. I'm very disappointed with overstock. Read more

At this great price, we purchased two of these TVs. Generally, my husband and I are techologcally challenged, but find this TV easy to operate. It has good color and clarity, in spite of the fact that we are not wired for HDTV. We would recommend purchasing this TV. Read more

The product did not work and needed to be returned as it continually shut off and would not come back on--see other review with same complaint. Either the product is defective or they keep passing around the same defective product. Read more
