I was very happy with the M3 until I went under a 1/2 mile tunnel in Washington DC. Once I came out, the M3 seemed really confused and seemed to take a long time to get back on track. Since that time it's been pretty good, but sometimes it will say, "in 600 ft make a right turn", when in fact I'm at the turn now - a good way to miss a turn. Anyway, I'm taking an out-of-town trip this weekend where I don't know the area at all - I'll report back here how I make out. Read more

I first exprimented with the routing options and found an almost perfect match with my favourite routes if I used the 'Major Roads' option. The other routing options produced some interesting routes that I will consider. Voice directions were excellent with sentences like " Turn left in 100 meters then veer right immediatly", awesome!
