My younger children, esp the 8 yo son, loved using it also. It is lightweight and fun for him to use. My floors have never looked so great. He uses it on the steps with ease. The dust pan is easy to empty. Long hair and string, yarn, etc does get tangled in the bristles but he easily cuts them off without any assistance. It's like a toy he uses almost daily. I plan to buy one for him tomorrow since the college daughter left for her semester. $30 for clean floors?
