Mouse pad should be larger

I bought this for my 3 year old daughter today and she loves it. But the cord for the mouse is way too short. It gets her very frustrated. It would be much better is the mouse were cordless, like the keyboard, but then I guess you'll have the problem of the mouse getting lost. Also, the mouse pad is too small for a child just learning how to use a mouse. However, we discovered that the mouse works much better on the carpet or table. Other than that this is a great toy. The computer is great. My 4 year daughter and 2 year old son love it. The games are cute but the keyboard would freeze up and the up & down arrow keys quit working just long enough after the purchase that it could not be returned. Therefore, half of the games could not be played. Not worth the money! Read more

My daughter loves pretending to use my computer but I was always afraid she'd do something to make it crash. This product is absolutely fabulous and exactly what I was looking for. I've already recommended it to everyone that I know that has young children. The keyboard is set up just like a real computer and it's wireless! Just like Mom's! My daughter is 5 and autistic so trying to teach her anything is a challenge. I showed her how to use the mouse and keyboard ONE time (she is very independent and it is hard to teach her anything) and after a while, she taught herself how to play the games, go from one activity to another and she is actually playing the educational games without any assistance. I stopped and listened while she was playing one day and I could not believe that she had clicked on matching shapes correctly in less than 15 seconds (there are 12 pictures to click.) I purchased this for my daughters 2nd birthday, she is now 3 1/2 and still uses it. She has learned how to use the mouse and keyboard on her own. I have watched her grow into the computer system with different games, she has learned different things with each game, she can match the items, move Dora accross the bricks to the target, wash McQueen. She now does everything on her own with little to no help. It's fun to watch her and how excited she gets when she figures it out on her own. I love it and will continue to buy her more games until she is ready for the big computer. She likes having her own computer to play with. LOVE IT!! The only con I have is the cord for the mouse is a little short and the mouse pad is small but the mouse pad you can take off, and the cord is designed that way to prevent choking. Amazing first computer for kids!

We bought this for my 2 year old who always wanted to sit and play with my keyboard and mouse. At first she had trouble with the mouse but then after about 2 weeks "it clicked" and she is now a pro. She loves to get postcards from mom and dad and she will play by herself and let me do work on my computer. I can't wait to get a new game and see how she does with it! Read more
