The sound of these speakers are great. You can hear them while out boarding on the water. These speakers could use a larger mounting ring for our boats tower. The chrome styling goes great with our whole tower and light system. The amplifier that we bought really pumps the sound. The boat dealer who mounted these speakers liked the style, shape and sound so much he actually was considering having some available in his store to sell. There is not one bad thing I can say about the speaker. They look great and sound awesome! The installer said these speakers definitely increase the COOL FACTOR" of our boat." Read more

I mounted these babies on my 21' Mariah which I mostly use for wake boarding in the San Francisco Bay. What? The SF Bay, are you nuts? Seriously, even in saltwater and occasional big swell conditions where everything gets wet these speakers do the trick. I just lightly spray them off after a session and dry them off and they are good to go. Of course they sound great too. Big volume with no compromise. Everybody loves them, especially the residents near the shore who come out of their houses to cheer us on; at least I think they are cheering us on, I never can hear what they say, I just wave back and smile. I had these speakers installed on my 2006 Cobalt 246 and it was hard to get my dealer to give me my boat back again. The stereo tech said they were the best sounding quality speakers he's ever heard. After a summer of fun, the consensus proved the same. I hang with many wakeboarders - all of whom have trick systems. THEY ALL LIKE THESE SPEAKERS THE BEST. From their great looks, to their impeccable sound and fidelity, there's really no better value. Be sure to power at or just slightly above recommended RMS range. Don't cheat these speakers by skimping on proper power! Five thumbs up! Read more

These speakers are very nice they go well with the alpine Type R Subwoofers I have. I think they could even be better, But for me the clarity is great and the 250 RMS is holding its own. Get the right componets and the right installer and you should have great sound. Read more
