I have to say, I love this item! I've lived in NYC for over ten years and always wanted something like this, and finally decided to splurge. While it takes up a lot of counter space (which in NYC is not a lot to begin with), it's worth it to me. I find that I can keep much more organized with this unit, for some reason doing the dishes was always something I could never find time for, but now it's a snap. I have been cooking a lot more because of it, so I am thrilled with my purchase. The only negatives are the size, and it is a little bit noisy. Also, if you want to wash anything other that basic dishes, you usually have to be creative or do two cycles (one for dishes, one for pots/pans). But I would definitely recommend it to anyone who hates doing dishes, but can't have one installed. Read more

I got this dishwasher two years ago. At that time I was living in a small 1.5 room studio. The small machine did not take much space. it is the most useful piece of machine ( including my husband (:-} )I have ever got for my self. I have been using this machine for last two years regularly, almost everyday. It holds a lot of dishes, not super big ones but regular size stuff, and actually you can arrange the dishes in many different ways. With the sani wash it cleans pretty well, except if you have very stubborn food residue. If you use the cold wash then dishes come out with spots sometimes. The two reasons I am giving this product 4 star is because after two years of use the heating system of the dish washer stopped working and the see through plastic window part ( the inside part) came off. Anyway I glued the window with water proof glue and its working fine and have been using only hot water supply from my faucet. Its been working fine. Okay look no further. This is the one to get. I did a ton of research on countertop dishwashers and finally just went for it with this model. The unit does need to be near your sink, but that makes sense. It cleans very well and seems pretty durable, but like anything - treat it with care. I never expected to love this appliance, but I do. Needed a small dishwasher after roommate moved to different city. Fits nicely on counter-top and under existing shelves, and washes every-day dishes quite adequately. It's not so good for cook-ware, but at least it saves a lot of hand, wrist and arm movement that would aggravate my arthritis. Read more
