I purchased this item about 6 months ago and I love it. It browns meats quickly, steams and pressure cooks. I was mainly interested in pressure cooking low budget meats, but I use it for so many things. I have "browned" and "low pressure" cooked country ribs in 17 mins. I've made chuck steaks, calas, regular ribs, dry beans and rice, etc. The various features are very intuitive. I like the "delay" cook feature a lot. On top or all this, it's beautiful -- shiny and high tech looking. The inner liner is a black, removable bowl. I sometimes "pre" prepare something, store the bowl in the fridge covered with foil and the next day just pop it in. [...] Need I say more? Also don't sweat the size. It's only me and my husband, but sometimes you want to cook "big" and save. Read more

This pressure cooker is the best! I cooked 24 marinated chicken breasts at the same time & it only took 50 minutes! Then it kept them warm for 6 hours with no fluctuation of temperature & they stayed nice & moist! I also have the small 6qt version I use at home. I recommend this to everyone who cooks for a crowd! Only 2 - 8 people? Get the 6qt. You'll be so glad you did! You can put in frozen meat right from the freezer, add a cup of water, sprinkle some seasonings on, push 2 buttons, lock on the lid & it beeps when it's finished cooking! Even roast beef is ready in an hour from frozen state! Couldn't be simpler or safer! Nothing like the old fashioned scary pressure cookers our mothers used! Highly, highly recommended!!!! Read more

Being from Louisiana, we LOVE to cook down here and this machine sure makes it easier! I love it so much, I bought one for EACH of my children so that their cooking chores can be easier also. Wouldn't trade it for anything. And the price was fantastic. I've seen it offered on tv for a lot more. It's simple, fast, convenient, just can't say enough about this machine. Read more

I bought this pressure cooker about a year ago. I use it every week. Frozen foods are no problem. It is a very safe cooker with lots of different functions. My only problem with it is finding any good cookbooks that are specific to this particular pressure cooker. It aint your grandmas pressure cooker. It's way better! Read more

One of my best purchases

        walnut creek, ca

The one thing that you need to remember is to put in liquid so that it is able to make steam pressure. I use it all the time even make soups with it after I pressure cook the meat then I remove the lid add veggies and cook the rest of the way on brown. Best soups ever Read more
