I was looking forward to liking this speaker. It looks pretty cool and looks like the perfect fit for any area in or outside of the house that speaker wires are not practical. So I bought one. Then the fun began. The first speaker sounded terrible and only worked for about a week. I would have taken it back right away but the store we too far. The second speaker sounded much better than the first. I was happy with the sound however the reception was spotty. It worked only sometimes even though it was only about 18 feet away from the base. I am going to return it this weekend. I do not know if there are better speakers but these do not work as advertised. Read more

This is a nice and sleek portable system. A great alternative to a Bose Sound Dock. Unfortunately, the wireless music feature is sadly quite poor. The 900mhz wireless format is not nearly good enough for clear, or even half-way decent music. This system works well when a clear line of sight is present from the transmitter to the speaker system. I was hoping to use this system to bring audio to my roof deck above my living room, but when I hooked everything up, the music signal was very poor. I estimate the total distance was no more than 15 feet from transmitter to speaker, but trying to pass through my roof proved to be a near impossible task for the wireless signal. No I don't live in a steel box, and yes I do get great cell reception in my place. I also tried the setup indoors and noticed static when walking between the two components of the system. I understand the signal not penetrating my roof, but why should this struggle when a person passes in front of the transmitt … Read more

Our friends had this wireless speaker and we had to go out and buy one. The sound quality is excellent and at the time we couldn't be more pleased. Unfortunately, a little over 1 year after purchasing the on/off switch does not work. You turn it on and it immediately goes off. We tried replacing the batteries and nothing works. We only use the speaker 2 days a week on the weekend and for only a few hours. I would expect a speaker to last more than a year.[...] it is over a year old. Had we used this speaker more often, I am sure the switch would of given out BEFORE the year warranty was up. Very disappointed with product[...]. Hesitant to purchase another one. Read more
