This amplifier was a whole lot more than I had truly anticipated. The 500 watts/channel is a bit of a whopper but it is quite powerful nonetheless.This item could stand to have more input/output options but at this price, who's going to complain? I would be remiss not to mention that my amp broke after 45 days of use. Amps are designed and desired so they can be taken advantage and at times misused and abused. Technical HiFi is more than willing to take it back and replace it with a brand new one, which is nice. All-in-all a very good product if they can keep it from breaking. Read more

This product is good with the exception that it does not have a connection for a center speaker. I had to connect it to the other speaker outlets. The other problem I found was that it doesn't play very loud. I am probably connecting something wrong, but danged if I can figure it out since the instructions were nil. It works excellent for the microphone aspect tho and the kids like being able to sing. In fact, the sound for the microphones is much better than for use as a surround sound for movies and such. its got a ton of power for the price. the only problem i had was that my power button broke and i had to take it apart and fix it. other than i that its been great. only thing i would ask for is more speaker outputs and a sub out. Read more
