The kiss lock area easily holds keys or a small cell phone. There is a zipper pouch inside for coins. The dollar area is not really designed for US dollars, but they do fit. The credit area displays 5 cards, and has another larger opening to hold a stack of cards. The magnetic closure is strong. I always seem to buy a new wallet with every new bag, and I can easily say that this is the most functional and most attractive I've ever owned. The change pocket opens wide, so I can actually get a decent amount of change (and my fingers) in there. Ample card slots, a few hidden pockets, and a clear ID window, excellent. My only minor complaint is that the cash compartment is almost the exact size of a bill, so I can't easily slide money in without folding it in half. I have this in the 'yam' color, and it is gorgeous. Stylish, classic, interesting; I get compliments. Completely recommended.
