Software not that great - had problems getting everything to line up where we needed it (we use graphics and text) - found it was easier to create a label in Adobe Photoshop than using this software.....now, on to the actual labels themselves. They're a bit on the thin side so if your CD is not all silver (silver color and silver text), any color will show through, so watch what brand CD you buy for this (we got the HP CDs which are blue and white - big mistake). Doesn't look very professional if the original CD face shows through... but I do love the little CD applicator device (sold separately) that helps you align the CD label as you apply it to the CD - that little item is worth every penny you spend on it. Read more

Labels are great, although box contains several types of label sets. some of the sheets are the square cd/dvd case labels which I really don't use, I mainly got this for the round labels used on the CD's themselves. The software was a little quirky trying to learn, but didn't take that long to get the hang of it. Setting up was not too bad. Labels are supposed to be used in laserjet or inket. I use a HP Color Laserjet 2600N with good results. The default printer adjustments had to be backed off to 0 vertical/0 horizontal for my printer and in order for the color to stay sharp and "stick" properly to the labels, had to set the "label" stock settings in the HP control panel to "less transfer current" and "more fusing" . Will definitely be going for a refill pack when this set is done. Read more

Perhaps this is wonderful for package labeling. I purchased it for labeling CD's and wasted an entire weekend trying to get what I wanted on the CD label. The option to import pictures is there, but I was unable to actually open a file to do so. I also wanted the track information to be on the label, but this program does not allow for any fields other than what is provided (and that isn't one of the options.) I finally downloaded AudioLabel from the internet and it's a fantastic program. The good thing is the labels created on AudioLabel fit perfectly on the Staples labels in the box, so all was not lost. The little gizmo provided by LabelWhiz works OK but one does need a steady hand to be able to use it. My philosophy is to spend a bit more to get a lot more. Read more

I have a package of these labels in the closet, but no software. With my xyz retailer labels, and Avery labels, its easy to download a Word template online. I type the number into google, if its not already in word, and its 1 click away.

But with these, can't find a template on the Staples website, and I can't on google.

Seems I need some special software, which is long ago lost on another computer. Read more
