'Bed' is one place I believe everybody deserves to be comfortable, especially with some of the physically and mentally tiring jobs some of us have. My bed was comfortable to begin with! Now it's even MORE comfortable with this memory foam topper. I fall asleep more quickly, and it seems like I sleep more deeply. I don't get cricks in my neck anymore either thanks to the contour pillows that suit me very well. I also used to occasionally wake up with an arm that had fallen asleep before getting the memory foam. Since getting memory foam a month ago, I've never had this problem! Very interesting! It took a little getting used to sleeping on foam that keeps you from moving and being able to slide around as much as you might be used to in bed, but once you get past the reduced motion across your mattress, you may find yourself sleeping more soundly, so it's worth it! It felt a bit strange for the first few days, but now I don't even notice the change of not sliding easily across the bed, a

I read a few articles that suggested that the 4-inch/3-lb density is the MINIMUM quality of foam topper that you should get to make sure it doesn't wear and to prevent hotspots from the mattress below.

In any case, I bought 1 for my queen guest bed and one for my king. The Queen topper fit a little too big for my mattress, so I just took some scissors and cut it to size. Easy! I sleep through the night now, and sleep on my back or side in comfort. All of my visitors rave about the comfort of the guest bed as well. Highly recommended. Read more

Let's keep this brief. Every few years my back goes out and it isn't improving with age. This last time, I'd been almost bedridden for a month, despite visits to the chiropractor. We checked out foam topper prices at the local "Discount" store and pretty much choked.

On the insistence of my wife (listen up, guys) I ordered the 4" Memory Foam topper and waited impatiently until it arrived three days later. Men, the NEXT MORNING I woke up and was not in pain. My wife told me that I hadn't tossed and turned, which makes sense because I'd pretty much settled into a good position and conked out. No tossing, no straining of the back all night. She also slept better without me shifting around so much and felt very rested.

My next order was to buy one for my son and daughter in law, because he has back problems too and she is pregnant. They phoned me to say that they, too, had the best sleep yet.

Look, it took another two weeks for my back to recover completely and if you have one, you know

I am almost certain that the great reviews here were written after a few uses of this topper - within a week or two. Like everyone has mentioned, this topper initially is comfortable. Unfortunately, the effectiveness of the topper wears out quickly. After about 2 months use (& I'm being generous), the topper started losing its elasticity & I started to sag in the middle just as a few reviewers have mentioned. I have flipped it over & tried sleeping on different parts of the mattress. I even went as far as to NOT sleep on it for a few days to force it to "remember" since it's supposed to be "memory" foam. Well, it has completely forgotten what to do! It no longer feels comfortable. Its more like sleeping on a squishy marshmallow although I imagine the marshmallow to be more supportive. It has become way too soft and no longer contours the body for support. Now, I get up in the morning feeling more tired and achy than when I went to bed! As far as value, again, initially it is a great

I wanted to wait some time before reviewing the product, so that I could provide a more accurate review. I'll start in chronological order here:
1. 4 days after ordering it, I received the mattress topper. It arrived tightly vacuum packed.
2. I opened the package and the foam began to inflate with air. At first it had the chemical smell that many have described, after about one day of airing and febreeze the smell was gone. I am particularly sensitive to smells, yet had no trouble using the product, the key is just to let it air before you place it on your bed.
3. On day 2 -- I placed the topper on my queen bed, it's true the topper is about 1 inch too small on either side, so if you want a better fit, you might have to purchase a size bigger and cut it down.
4. The sleeping experience -- I placed the topper on top of a feather topper. As much as I love feather toppers, they need too much fluffing to be comfortable. With the foam topper I obtained the best sleep I have in a long time.

Ok, this memory foam mattress comes all bundled up in a medium sized box...you have to let the mattress stretch out to the size of your bed for about 12 hours...after that you are good to go...the first night my husband and I had some trouble sleeping, getting use to the bed, but after that it became hard to actually get our of bed. As for the pillows? Well, I rarely use mine, maybe to prop myself up to watch tv, and my husband never uses his...but they are somewhat comfortable. Worth the purcahse...if you are a stomach sleeper (which I have been trying to stop) your lower back may hurt more on this mattress...mine does if I sleep on my stomach. Read more

I purchased the 4" Queen topper w/pillows to replace a problematic featherbed. I found setting up the topper very easy; I did it by myself in about 5 minutes. I had no problems with the memory foam ripping. When I unrolled the topper, it came to a full 3" immediately, and within a day or two was up to its full 4" depth. It is a little short for the bed, by perhaps 3" or 4", but I just balance that out by putting most of the shortage at the head of the bed and a smaller amount at the bottom, and I've had no problems. I bought both the down alternative topper cover and a hypoallergenic waterproof mattress cover for the topper (the latter because I have 5 cats, 1 or 2 who sometimes have "accidents" on the bed and I don't want the topper to get ruined.) Both fully envelop the topper and then zip at the top. I had little trouble getting either cover/pad onto the topper--it was just a matter of sliding up alternating sides. Most of all, I've found the topper very comfortable to sleep on and

I purchased my queen memory foam mattress topper while I was pregnant. Our mattress underneath is very firm and my changing body just couldn't take it anymore. My husband was ok with the firm mattress but being a loving man that he is didn't mind when I added the memory foam pad. And now, our daughter is almost 1 and we are still using it. I don't think we will ever go back to the regular mattress. My parents purchased a California King size from Overstock a few months before we did and I loved the way their bed felt. Now my sister and brother-in-law have one as well. Our cat is crazy about it too! :)

The only complaint that we have had about it is that the pad itself turns yellow pretty shortly after using it. I wash our sheets on a very regular basis but that doesn't matter. Our bodies secrete so many oils while we sleep and I am guessing that, that is why it turned yellow. My parent's and sister's did the same. Perhaps covering it with a waterproof cover under your sheets would pre

I had previously bought two full size of the 3" pads for my daughter's room and one of the guest rooms and have really enjoyed them. After spending $2,100 on a very expensive king mattress two years ago (I will omit the brand name) and having to have it replaced under warranty after a year and now need to go thru the 3 month process of having it replaced AGAIN we decided to give this 4" pad a try. We could tell a difference in our sleep after the first night. Both my husband and I slept better and our backs didn't hurt any more. It took my husband a couple of nights to get used to the pillow but now he likes it too. There was about a 3" long cut in the middle of the pad but it hasn't effected the quality of it and I didn't want to go thru the hassle of trying to re-wrap it and send it back. That is the only reason I didn't give it all 5 stars. The only other down fall is that since our expensive mattress was already a pillow top and this pad is 4", it now makes our comforter too s

My husband and I considered purchasing a complete famous maker memory foam sleep system. When I saw this 4-inch topper on this site, I figured it might be a good way to 'test drive" memory foam without the expense of the full sleep system. We have had the topper for about 3 weeks. There is a distinct odor with the foam, but it appears to be dissapating with time. The foam can be warm on hot, humid nights, but it is tolerable. I did have to purchase sheets that can accomodate a thicker mattress. We have a queen bed and I purchased the California King size (at the suggestion of other reviews) which we had to trim by about 6 inches in width. The length was perfect. I used to get "pins and needles" in my legs almost every night on our 20 year old mattress and had to shift sides several times during the night. This has not happened since we purchased this topper. My husbad has rheumatoid arthritis and he seems to toss and turn a lot less during the night. We are anxious to see how the memor
