New Samsung TV Required a Part

Frustrated customer from Northeastern NC

We ordered on August 5 and it took about 10 days We're happy with the overall quality of it. What I like is the size, weight, and exceptional color, brightness etc. Overall loudness could be better, but since we run it through our sound system, it is not a problem. The only thing I hate is after paying $1,600 for it, it needed a part to keep it from automatically changing the "source selection". While watching TV, it would change channels without automatically without any user input and defaulted to Channel 10. Same thing happened while watching a DVD (on a Samsung DVD player), it would sporadically automatically switch over to the TV by itself. The uncommanded change of the "video source" has become quite frustrating. Sometimes it occurs many times while watching a particular source, other times it is days before it occurs. We've been waiting for about 3 weeks now (it was back-ordered from Samsung) and are awaiting for Samsung to ship the part to our authorized dealer to effect repair … Read more

This is my third HD TV. It is heads and shoulders better than my other units. Movements are extremely crisp and the picture really jumps out at you. Sound isn't very good, but I have it hooked up to a receiver so that doesn't matter. Excellent model and it has an excellent design. Read more

We hung this in our master bedroom and could not be more pleased. Love this "ultra thin" model and the picture is incredible. My husband says he may never leave our bedroom. Not to worry, I push him out to work every day. We both would highly recommend this model and are even thinking of buying another for our home theatre. Read more

Great tv for the price

Used for general viewing and movies. The internet connections, wigets, photos, different media uses, design, size, weight, and sleekness are fantastic. Hard to change out different forms of hardware because it has been mounted to the wall unless you have then long fingers. Its lacking the dlp technology that seem to be only available in the larger models. Coming from a person who is use to using projectors with dlp technology you can tell the difference. Overall a great quality picture. Somewhat life like. For a novice person who is not use to viewing quality pictures this is great buy. Read more
