        &lt;p&gt;
        I strongly suggest having at least one Quick Release plate for each lens and camera that you have to be used on the tripod. This particular plate is large making sitting the camera or lens aside secure. You do not have to worry about it toppling over. The plate fits securely but you may need to used a coin to tighten it.
