this product is flimsy as can be. the shelves can literally fall out if you pull them out too far. this unit does not accomodate fatter bottles (750ml), so you need to pay attention to the size of a 750ml bottle or else you'll have trouble fitting it. this unit looks nice on the internet, but if i had seen this in person, i would have never considered buying it. i can't express enough how cheaply built this product is. vinotemp does have some solid units, but this is not one of them. This frig is perfect. It is the only wine frig I found that was only 20" deep, so it doesn't take up a lot of room, but it stores just enough bottles. It has two separate temp controlled sides, I love having one side for red and one for white, it does wonders. Also, this little frig is extremely quite, its noise is drowned out by my regular refrigerator that isn't all that loud to begin with. Get it, you won't be disappointed. Read more

Great size and very quiet. A pretty unit, but the shelves don't slide very easily, and are to narrow for some wines, thereby offering less storage space than advertised. The interior light offers a limited illumination of only the top shelf, so is pretty useless. Instructions are poorly written and incomplete. In fact, I am still not entirely clear on how to keep the red wines at an even temperature, since there seems to be some daily fluctuation of 2 degrees or so. I am constantly adjusting upward or downward. Oh well, it gives me the opportunity to play with the thing! I am keeping it because it fits most of my needs, is reasonably esthetic, and is to much of a hassle to return. If you are in the market for a wine cooling cabinet, take the time to actually see the product rather than buying from a picture online. The bottom line: I like it. It's a great deal for a starter like myself; very quiet, keep accurate temp, and compact for a two-door model. Also, you can put opened bottles vertically by removing some shelves. However, I wouldn't recommend this to those who are picky about construction; the doors are not hanged equally, there are some dents, shelves don't slide smoothely with bottles on, etc. In other words, it is not a "Japanese" made!
