I use this inversion table to increase blood flow volume into the head (per Neurologists direction) and to help open constricted skull blood vessels. Also noticed it reliefs compression on skeletal frame and back and can be felt in back muscles - a plus. This table is very sturdy - not flimsy and loose operating like most other inversion tables I have compared. Has a nice device on it the preselects the inversion angle so you don't go to far for what is comfortable for you and prevents accidentally going to far. Unit well made and will last a very long time. I love it. My wife decided to try it and was surprised that it makes her back, neck, and posture feel much better. - Depending upon you height and weight, the ankle padding could be thicker and vynalized for durability. The demo in Sports Authority showed the ankle pads to be susceptable to wear and tear damage. The ankle brace and pads feel very good to my wife - so I think due to my size and angle leg alignment I feel some discom

The overall construction of the machine was good. Unfortunately, the one I purchased from Sports Authority had some issues with plastics being cracked and broken. One of the plastics was the knob that limited incline. [...] After the experience, I'd strongly recommend this store to a friend! After assembly, I noticed another part that was starting to come apart. This didn't stop the machine from operating, but may cause issue one day. [...] The machine itself is very sturdy; this coming from a guy who pushes the upper end of the weight limit for same. Assembly – well, like anything else, allow an hour or two for this process. Make sure you have a socket set and both short-shaft and long-shaft screwdrivers. Also, either a 17MM or 11/16 open end wrench is a God-send when hanging the handles. As far as use, it’s simple to use – even for a fat man like me! I would recommend that you keep someone nearby, just to assure you don’t get stuck in the upside down position. I can’t flip m

A bulging disk in my L4-L5 region was causing constant pain and made walking difficult. After researching treatment options I purchased an inversion table in May 2006. After 3 days of 3 ten minute sessions daily I was pain free. I continued using it for ten minute sessions on an almost daily basis for maintenance. That table was recalled in November 2007 and I was reluctant to return it until I discovered this item. It took about three hours to assemble and I needed assistance with parts of the assembly. This item is constructed so much better than the one that I returned. The box it arrived in was badly beaten up and I expected damage inside. However, it was so well packed that except for some minor scrapes on the metal parts, everything was in good condition. I would recommend this table to anyone with disk problems. Read more

[@] I was really surprised and disappointed, and the more, that all the parts were just rough around the edges - it came with more than 100 pieces to be assembled. I tried to assemble them in the beginning, but had to give up since it took forever. Many small nuts and bolts did not fit into the main body correctly -- which made the final product really unsafe! It took for me two hours to made the base part, but all the parts were really poorly made and impossible to be put together. [...] I have purchased many nice things from Brookstone, but after this horrible incident, I became really wondering when Brookston started to sell this kind of cheaply made products and also stopped training their people, especially who are in charge of speaking with their customers. Just stay away from this product and Brookstone as well if you can. They are irresponsible for what they sell. Read more
