I purchased both the Steiner 8x22 and 10x26. Very similar. My husband sez he can not tell difference (go figure). I was not sure about the 10x version, because have to hold more steady when using. The 8x22 are perfect all-around use for me. (Bird watching, hiking (lite)). The 10x26 are wonderful to see details better, or birds at greater distance. Love the quality. First pair of quality binoculars I have purchased/owned--picked Steiner because of other comments on Sierra Trading Post. I'm pretty darn happy w/ these! Read more

A good lightweight set of field glasses. I found them a little hard to focus (must be very exact) but I'm getting used to that. Also there is some "halo" type reflection at the bottom of the view when looking toward the sun. Not sure that other optics wouldn't do the same thing though. Nice clear sharp picture once you get used to the focus on these powerful glasses. No problems in light rain/snow. Read more

Better optics than my Nikon and Steiner ultra compact models. Slightly larger but still very easy to carry. Very solid feel. Little bit heavier than other brands. Great binoc's for the price! Read more

These glasses did not work well at all. I was extremely disappointed with their performance. When used in wet conditions they absorbed moisture in to the len area and you could not see anything. Not usuable when conditions are poor. Ok for normal light and good weather. I could only suggest these glasses for use under great weather conditions. They worked well when I used them the first time when it was sunny, bright and what I would consider normal conditions. I sent these back for different pair of binoculars. Read more
