I was initially very exicted to get a double oven. We picked this model because the stoves were larger and seemed better built. Unfortunately, the cook top caused us to return the unit, not becasue of cleaning, but because of performance. Here's the deal...We cook a lot and we especially cook large volumes. I make my own stock, sauces, etc. We tried to boil potatos in a 12-quart stock pot with about 6 quarts of water, after 45 minutes, the water had not boiled! We tried to cook pasta in 4 quarts of water in a 6 quart pan. A boil was not reached for 25 then 30 minutes on two attempts. Once the pasta was in the water, it took too long for the temperature to rebound and the pasta was pretty much mush. Tried cooking bacon on the bridge burner. It burned in some places, undercooked in others. Also tried making some soups. Burners could not hold a consistent even temp and the veggies turned to mush. Sauces, especially cream sauces, scorched like crazy. Apparently, the elements are either "of

My wife loves this thing. The burners and oven heat-up fast. The convection fan is very quite. My wife cooks for a family of 9. This oven gets a lot of use, we've had it for about a month now and have not found a problem with it. The kids liked that she was able to cook 3 pans of cookies at the same time. These are large cookie sheets not the little ones. It was also rated very high with consumer reports. The front doors do not get hot when baking, just slightly warm. This is important for us with small children in the house. You won't be dissapointed with this oven. Read more

I've decided, having two ovens is a necessary luxury. The small oven is perfect for pizza and most daily meals, the large convection oven cooks meats and cookies to perfection. I don't know how I lived without this oven before. I researched double ovens for quite some time, and found this oven to contain every feature imaginable. GE did a wonderful job! Read more

This range has it all - double ovens, radiant cooktop, easy to use controls, and a sleek, sexy look. In a house with two teenagers and an extended family that likes to cook, its hard to find enough room in the kitchen to get the meals cooked and save energy.
This range has a small (full-width) upper oven that is perfect for quick broiling tasks and the ever present requests for pizza, without the losses of heating up a full sized oven, and it is located at a convenient height. The lower convection oven is perfect for those big holiday meals and can easily accommodate a large turkey or roast, with room to spare! Cooking is very fast and even with this convection oven.
The radiant top has five cooking positions, with a griddle zone. A selectable 6" - 9" - 12" diameter heating zone is perfect for accommodating small sauce pans, skillets, and big stock pots.
The control panel is easy to understand and operate, with pushbutton and programmable settings. There's even a button for pizza! Can'

I bought this one about a week before Thanksgiving. We have 4 growing boys who can eat!!!! Needless to say, when it comes to holidays, there is a lot of food to be cooked.

The double oven is one of the most awesome features and really helps out. The turkey went in the bottom with the probe and all other dishes were done in the top oven.

The top oven is great because cooking little things like pizza, muffins, etc., it heats up quicker, cooks quicker and therefore uses less engergy.

The convection and probe in the bottom are a geat feature too.

We have had no problems with any of the top burners. We really like the fact that you can choose 6, 9, or 12 inch size on the front burner. It heats up quick and cooks just as good.

Does it get dirty...yes...it's white, it's going to get dirty. Simple solution, use the cleaner and pad and it looks like a new stove every time. Again, 4 boys, 2 of which can cook, it gets messy, but cleans up just like new every time.

If you do alot of cooking,
