This seems to be a good machine for the price but the instructions are NUTS!! I even called customer service and their service wasnt that great.. she had to put my questions in to the help desk and i still have not received a call back.. It is unclear how long you are supposed to preheat the thing (that was one of my major issues) also it doesnt specify the grind.. we had our espresso ground at a coffee shop and they ground it to a #3 and that was apparently to fine.. #4 did the trick. once you get the thing up and running i think it makes great espresso.. but making your own espresso is MESSY! unless you use those pods but .. i like my fresh ground espresso and i guess ill deal with the mess..

        Needs a larger drip/filter

I use it to make espresso's every morning. It's easy to use and makes a great single shot (if you use the larger filter), but it doesn't hold enough coffee grounds for a good, strong double shot. You have to use more water to get a stronger shot which leaves less room for your milk. I would recommend a larger filter. The single shot filter is way too small. Read more

Great machine!

I have now been using this machine for over two weeks and it delivers great espresso every time. The only con or rather a suggested improvement is the positioning and/or length of steam wand. I wish the wand would swing to the outside and stay there. It's spring-loaded and it pushes the milk pitcher up against the machine.
All in all, a great machine for a great price! Read more

Simple and easy to use. Quick to heat up. The "cr`eme`" is rich and thick. You almost don't need to make cappuccino. It brews a full rich cup, a great way to start each day and I finish the evening with a cup of decaf. This is a totaly manual coffee maker. There is no auto loading or shut off. But the cup is so rich its` worth it Read more

Horrible coffee

        from
        Long Island, New York

After following all instructions, I had no more than two good cups of espresso. There seems not to be enough power to force the steam through - water sits on top of the coffee in the basket. A trickle of lousy, thin, coffee-stained water manages to get through. Even with frequent cleaning (which helkps a little) the steam simply is not "espressed" through the coffee. Read more
