I got this bike and right away knew I was going to put bullhorns and TT brake on. (In fact, I bought them before I actually had the bike built up). I also put a NiteRider MiNewt beam on for commuting. It is a great ride. I got it because my wife owns a Trek 7300 and I was leaving her in the dust on our bike path rides on my CF Trek 5200. My only complaint is that getting the bike on and off the fork-mount bike rack is a pain in the neck. I don't want to have to carry around a 5/8" wrench. I'm wondering if it is possible to put a quick release skewer on the front (yes, I know- heresy!). I haven't tried commuting with it yet, but I'm looking at some really big, long climbs. I got rid of the chain guard because of an incessant "clank, clank" from the chain slapping it. It just made the bike sound cheap and was annoying as hell.

Other than those minor complaints, however, I love how it accelerates, and I put some simple Time ATAC pedals on it- it's an outstanding ride. I'd

I just purchased the Soho S. Right out of the box it sounded like the freewheel was full of rocks. My local bike shop repacked it with grease and it was briefly better. However, after about 15 miles of riding the pedals broke, the sweet matte black finish appears to be dissolving and becoming sort of glossy on the bottom of the frame freewheel began to sound like rocks again. The local bike shop replaced the freewheel and it still mildly binds up and sounds like rocks. It is such a sweet looking, great handling commuter bike, but with the quality of the build, I regret purchasing it. Read more

I have had this bike for almost a year now. It's my sole mode of transportation. Overall, I am very happy with the bike.

The positives: It looks amazing. I am always having heads turn to look at the bike. I receive a lot of compliments at the bike rack. It is so light. I kid you not it is lighter than my cat. It's a smooth ride and quick.

The negatives: I've gone through two sets of the plastic pedals on this bike. The black paint on the wheels and pedal stems has slowly washed off. However, the pedal stems and wheels are a beautiful copper color, which I think looks better. (From Batman black to a steampunk look) So obviously some quality issues. But I don't think those outweigh how amazing this bike is.

Just ride it. You will love it. Then when you are not riding it have it someplace you can look at it's striking design. Read more

I've bought my Soho S one week ago.
I've this choice after a long benchmarking between existing singlespeed on French market.

I really enjoy riding in Paris with this bike. Fast, responsive, very light, it's a pure plaisir. On the top of that the look is great, in my point of view.

I do recommand the Soho S to my best friend. Read more

Been riding this for two weeks, in and around Chicago. At the most I'd say I've put fifty miles in one shot, although I typically use it for a fifteen mile each way work commute. Single speed is comfortable, although 44/17 freewheel with flipside 44/16 fix sorta spins on flat ground; just had to get used to it's all. Cranks seem a bit long for fixed gear. Switched out the pedals (busted the stock cages after about a week, replaced w/ old Shimano DX BMX pedals), replaced the wide, stock straight bars for bullhorns, and flipped the stem for a lower ride. Also going to replace the seat - not comfortable for longer rides. Overall I enjoy the utter simplicity of it, and the fact it gets me from here to there in the same amount of time, or quicker than, it'd take to drive through city traffic or wait for the train or bus, or. Currently have it running fixed, and after two weeks can feel the change in my general health and strength. Price is right for the working stiff who's either a m
