The ice and water through the door needs to be redesigned. The water dispenser is so close to the front edge that if you put a glass all the way under the dispenser, water tends to splash out and down the front of the refrigerator -- especially not good for a stainless steel finish; it constantly has to be wiped up. Even worse, is the ice dispenser. The crushed ice literally flies all over the floor like confetti. The ice cubes are better.

Also, inside the refrigerator, the slide out drawers cannot be opened unless the refrigerator door is opened absolutely as far as it can be opened.

Finally, the refrigerator is loud.

I think this would be a fine refrigerator if they could fix these faults. Until then, I would avoid it. Read more

This refrigerator is absolutely beautiful. It will make your kitchen look nice. But, for the price, Bosch should have put a little more effort in the functionality of it. The water and crushed ice doesn't all make it in the glass. Space is limited inside and you really have to have an open kitchen where you can open the doors all the way to access your food in the drawers. You can choose another brand and get more for your money. If you insist on Bosch, I recommend buying the extended warranty. I have had other Bosch appliances and the repairs can be costly. Plus good luck on finding a local dealer to service the appliance if you don't have the extended warranty. There are none in my area. The extended warranty would make it worth it. And if you buy it through Sears, you know they will help you if you run into any warranty issues. Read more
