It also seemed to tear more easly. The new all nylon fabric design does not attract fur and is super easy to clean. My cats love these things and dive in and out when playing or curl up in it for nap time. She has two of them connected together and gets playing so hard that she rolls them across the room. My 12 year old cat who is above cat toys also likes them to my suprise.
