As great as they ever were - I wore Earth shoes in the 70's and loved them so much then. I found out they were still around when I began having foot trouble and was searching online in hopes of finding some Earth shoes. I was pretty sure if I found them that they would probably feel good to my feet having worn them before... I was just hoping they had some boots. I bought these boots, but I bought them a half size bigger than I usually buy because I suspected with the plush lining, they might be tight if I didn't. I figured right, and they fit like a glove. The comfort is unbelievable. I have wide feet with a lot of tendon trouble in my heel, but with these boots, I can stay on my feet almost twice as long with very little discomfort. Lots of toe room and they look even better in person. I'm saving to get another color in the same style if that tells anyone how much I love them. You can't get too much of a good thing when it comes to comfort in shoes if you have troublesome feet!!!!! A

Winter heaven - I tried this boot on in a local department store and am still trying to decide whether to spend the money. I have to tell you, this was the coziest, most comfortable winter footwear I have ever tried on. I tried this and the Lodge. The Lodge slipped in the heel, but this was a perfect fit. It holds the heel in place, is soft under your feet as well as wonderfully warm with the fleecy lining. I wore thick socks to try them on b/c I didn't want them to be too tight when I wore them with winter warmth in mind. I'm usually an 8.5-9W, and these fit me in a 9 with thick socks. That's one of the things I love about Earth shoes - wide feet can wear a lot of the styles. But, if you have a narrower foot or aren't planning to wear thick socks, you might be able to go down a half size. If I were made of money, I'd buy these in a second, and probably in multiple colors. I should say I tried on the suede b/c the store didn't have micro fiber, so I can't attest to the micro fiber fit,

These shoes are the BEST! First let me say, I don't wear uncomfortable shoes, I own my own company, I formulate, make, deliver, and promote my products. I stand on my feet ALL day when I am not running around the city and the subways with a big wheeled luggage of products....I am telling you this to get across one point, I NEED comfortable shoes to survive!! The negaitve heel on earth shoes aligns your body so you can't slouch, You can stand ALL DAY and feel FINE, no backache. Also, they don't mash your toes, which is very important for your health. The look gets only 4 stars because a lot of the styles are uncool (sorry, earth), and even the good looking ones can be a little clodhopper-ish, but you can work the cooler styles. Also, the sizing can be a little off sometimes, so you might have to go up or down a half size. I just got this style today and am in HEAVEN since I put them on, no break in needed, they go well w/ boot cut jeans to minimize the bulkiness. I could not be more happ

I usually have achy feet and bad posture so the negative heel technology of earth shoes really appealed to me. I have VERY hard time finding shoes, and Earth shoes usually don't fit me properly because my feet are on the narrow side and I have a high arch, but these shoes are a decent fit! They were just a little roomy and the arch support wasn't enough, so I slipped the insoles I already had into the earth shoes and that has given them a PERFECT fit for me. The negative heel keeps my back aligned properly and I notice a difference in the way my back and neck feel...I even wear my earth shoes around the house instead of my slippers! I thought I'd be sacrificing style for comfort, but these shoes look better in person than online. They are versatile, definitely a sneaker but the single-color brown leather makes them seem more fashionable than athletic. Well worth the price! Read more

Warm and comfortable - I had been looking for a pair of warm boots to wear casually. I wanted warm, comfortable, snow-proof and something a bit different (I had already tried Uggs. They are warm, but everyone has them, not so comfortable and definitely not snow proof.) The Earth Dakotas are everything I wanted. They are as comfortable as any of my Birkenstocks, with good arch support. Very warm. I used some suede water proof spray and they work great in the snow. They clean up well. We've had about 10 inches of snow so far this year, and these boots have kept my feet warm, dry and stylish! Read more
