A friend told me to get this monitor when I was pregnant and I didn't listen - thinking that a voice only model would be fine... After always waking my baby up when I would check on her - I decided to get this monitor when she was a couple of months old. It is the best investment I have made so far for her... You can see if she's just being a little fussy and will fall back asleep or if she's getting up - it's great. The color portion really only works in bright rooms, so don't think you're going to get full color - but the black and white works fine. Oh, and it is extremely sturdy as well... It has gone through more than it's fair share of falls (both the camera and the monitor) and both still work great! I definitely recommend this! Read more

We had this monitor for two days when the screen just stopped working and then there was a lot of static and we couldn't hear our baby in the other room. We ended up taking it back and upgraded to the next model up. So far, there is no interferences and it works much better than this product. We were told at the store that there were many others returning it with the same issues. Which raises the question why they would have a high priced item that doesn't work very well at all?? Static/interference is awful.

The monitor works well for a few months, but then the static becomes so bad that it is hard to use while trying to sleep. It wakes me up several times throughout the night and I have to spend time trying to reposition the monitor so it will stop making the screeching, interference noise. Definitely not worth the money spent. I've only had it for a year and was hoping to use it for a second child, but that will obviously not be the case. Also, the battery dies almost instantly when unplugged, so I have to keep it plugged in at all times and cannot carry it around. Read more

I've used this product for almost 16 months now and I have nothing bad to say about it! I love it. I've even taken it away on vacation with me. The handheld unit is very durable and has sustained numerous drops. I leave the camera unit on all the time and have not had a single problem with it. I just wish it came with a remote control so I could move it around when she moves/climbs out of view. (But that is because of how I have it set up.) I'm getting one for my sister-in-law and another one for my little one that is on the way. Read more

This product is absolutely awesome! This technology makes parenting soooo much easier! I don't have to run into my daughter's room with each little whimper or cry. I can just look on the monitor to see if she's still asleep or if something is wrong. A huge bonus is that you can hook the monitor up to the television. We do this every night in our bedroom and leave it on. This way, if I hear her, instead of having to fumble around for the little monitor, I can simply raise my head and look on the tv screen! We also use this feature for naps. We watch our daughter and another tv show picture-in-picture on our television! Talk about handy-dandy! Couldn't live without this product!
