I bought this Trike for my granddaughter - she LOVED it! It is very sturdy, the double step was really helpful for her to climb on to get up on the seat. She is just now two years old and the trike is just small enough for her to reach the pedals, but big enough that she will be able to ride it for a couple of years at least. We bought this as a Christmas present for my daughter. [...] ToysRUs was very responsive and nicely took care of the problem quickly in time for Christmas. We had chosen this trike because it wasn't the flimsy plastic type you see so often in the stores now. It is as advetised, built much like the ones when I was a kid, however the details - not so much. When I unpacked it, the main 'pipe' of the trike had rust spots on the bottom side and the bolt that secures the seat post seems stripped. Very disappointed in the quality control of the product. My 2 1/2 year old daughter loves it! I wouldn't say this is the best quality tricycle out there but for the price you can't beat it. My husband assembled the tricycle with no problems. It was a nice surprise to find that it comes with a horn too! I expect that my daughter will get a lot of use from this trike. She hasn't mastered the peddling yet but is getting the hang of it. Overall, we are pleased with this tricycle. If this is the price range that your budget allows, I would reccommend it. Read more
