Simply put, it's the best bike gloves i've ever purchased. Durable and fits my hands perfectly. I'm buying another one. Read more

These gloves really do the trick. I use them everytime I ride my bike just for comfort's sake, but they have helped with the cold and heat many times. They do not get hot in the sun and keep your hands responsive in very cold winds. I would recommend buying the size just below what the sizing chart may say if you want a very tight fitting, second-skin glove. Otherwise there will be some amount of play which could get in the way. Read more

When I first got these gloves (I ordered a Medium... in golf gloves, I normally get a M/L Cadet size), I thought they ran a little tight. But after 3-4 rides, they stretched to comfortably provide a good fit. The padding on the heels of the hand is good and the tackiness on the finger tips help if you are only grasping the brake levers with one finger. I ride in SF and so when the wind kicks up, you can feel the 'chill' cut through the back of the glove, so it might not be best suited for true winter rides, but even on the warmest of days, the breathability is awesome. I even had my first big spill on my bike with these gloves on (concrete/dirt) and they saved my hands from getting 'those battles scars'. Especialy when these gloves are on sale (which seems like often at least online here at REI), they are a great bargain! I will definitely buy these gloves again if they ever wear out on me (or if I lose them!). Read more

I have had these for about a year and use them for cool weather commuting--about 40-60 degrees. I commute to work by bike 20 miles round trip, 5 days a week. There is not much padding in them, but I don't mind that much. What I like most about them is that they fit so well I can easily use my hands and fingers without taking my gloves off. They remind me of mechanic's gloves. I use fingerless cycling gloves or weightlifting gloves in the summer and ski gloves on cold winter days, but these are great for in-between temperatures in the spring and fall. Read more

        Not Wind Proof

Great fit and feel but alas NOT WINDPROOF!

In the morning 50F chill it felt like I had nearly nothing on at all. Wind just passed right through, finger tips ok but rest of hand was COLD!

I'm returning them as the primary reason for purchase is for fall/winter commute riding, which means cold mornings.

However, fit is good and dexterity is good too, so I'd recommend them for warmer climates. Padding is a little too thin for me. Read more
