This is the best MP3 player ever! Apple is just all about innovation and being ahead of the competiton! I just love that it has an internal speaker, an accelerometer, which makes an entirely new experience for games and a feature which I love a lot, Cover Flow, and finally, before I forget, it has the most accurate touch screen I've ever used, period! This product has technologies that other companies don't even use yet! Overall, I think that this product is awesome! There is one thing I suggest though. If you want to get this iPod, I suggest you wait until the beginning of September because that's when Apple refreshes their iPod line. That means they will probably add some features that people have been requesting for a long time now like a camera, a better speaker, and some other features. But if you don't care about not having that stuff, get right now if you have the money, save up your money for one, or ask for it for your birthday. I would definately recommend the iPod T

The itouch has become my absolutely favorite essential. I want to share my opinion of itouch vs iphone - as well as some fantastic downloads, but first let me give you a bit of history. I've had my 8gig itouch since December 2008, when my 30+ year old son gave it to me for Christmas. I basically ignored it for two months. I already had an 80gig ipod Classic loaded with music. I mean, how could a little 8gig compete with a big 80gig classic? Then one day, my son sat me down and introduced me to "applications" and my world has never been the same. I became so excited about this thin little tool that it never leaves my side unless it's plugged into the Bose Portable docking station (another *****star product and a great way to keep the itouch charged!)My daughter was just a wee bit green with envy because she was the only one in the family without an itouch. So when her birthday came around this past week, I knew just what to get her. She's absolutely thrilled, thrilled, THRILLED! Now she

I went from my 30 gig video iPod to this. I would leave it locked in my car and connect it to my stereo when I had new music, but not enough to burn a whole new cd. It worked well for what it was, but I practically live on the internet, so an upgraded model like this was a great idea.

1. The iPod touch has wifi. Even though you cannot wirelessly sync the device to iTunes, you can browse the internet, IM people on various chat networks, access email, and waste time on youtube anywhere with a wireless network.

If you are sitting somewhere bored, you can get online and download applications from the app store to keep you entertained for a while, without the need to connect it to a computer. Wasting time playing with google earth is great example.

2. Flash memory is used in place of a hard drive. This means the device is much less fragile, and even faster than previous models. It also uses less energy so you get more out of a charge than previous models, even with wifi enabled.

3. The

I love the iPod touch! It is really thin, so it can easily fit in your pocket. It has lots of memory, built in speakers (the first generation iPod touch does not have built in speakers) great for surfing the web, you can watch videos on Youtube, listen to millions of songs, download new apps, visit the iTunes store for some tunes now and then, store your videos and photos, check your mail, check the weather, check the stocks, keep some notes on the iPod, has a calendar where you can plan events, a clock that is worldwide, alarm, stopwatch, timer, keep contacts, built in calculator, and best of all: a touch screen!

This has to be the best iPod yet. Only the iPod touch and iPhone can access the internet and has a touch screen!!!
The iPod touch will last you forever. It is more scratch-proof than any other iPod (the iPhone is not an iPod).
Also, the battery can last up to 36 hours before you have to recharge it.

I'm a teenager who is a music addict and I love my mom for buying me

It has tons of more great thing already downloaded, such as weather, clock, calendar, and a lithuim battery cell (the longest lasting battery ever..... And plus, it has a built in speaker.
