Really cute in the package, but once my daughter started playing with it, the hair became matted within just days. The batteries lasted for a few months, then when we had to replace them, it didn't work. My 2 year old daughter still tries pushing on her tummy to get her to giggle again, it makes me sad that I can't fix her (the doll, not my daughter :)) Also, the doll's hand has a tear from my daughter squeezing her hand so much. My daughter still loves her and takes her everywhere, we're considering getting her a new one that will giggle again. Some people said the doll isn't that cute, I think she's adorable! Read more

This was a Christmas gift to my 11-month-old daughter (had to get it because it brought back memories of my similar doll in the 80's). Yes, the doll looks nothing like the chubby doll on the box--the face is flat, doll is skinny, hair is different. I'm glad other people said the same thing because I thought maybe it was just MINE that had a problem. My daughter didn't care or notice, and she cracks up laughing and clapping when I press the button to make her giggle. I know it's not made for babies, so I removed the choking hazard socks and hair bows. It's definitely one of her favorite dolls and smells really good too. Read more

I read some reviews before I bought this product and honestly they kind of scared me. I almost didn't buy it. But, in the end I know how much my little 2 1/2 year old LOVES STrawberry Shortcake (she begs to watch a video all the time everyday) and I knew she would Love it.. And I was Right. She Adores it! Got it last year for my 2 yr old daughter. She absolutely loves it. We love the smell, the laugh, the kisses, but there's one downside I've noticed. The hair! The hair is cute, but gets very very matted. After about 2 weeks the hair looked nothing like it did when brand new. We've tried combing it, but it doesn't do anything. I was a little disappointed because now the doll looks pretty ugly, but my daughter loves it anyway. I haven't seen anyone else complain about the hair, so maybe its not a common thing. Read more

Absolutely Adorable

This doll is so adorable our daughter loved it from the first day we got it. This doll is really so much more adorable than the picture above. We just love how they have changed the looks of strawberry shortcake , she is much cuter than the original and the board books are great too our daughter spends hours reading the books we just wish they would create more for the series. All in all this is a great doll and I salute them for the great improvment from years past. Read more
