I purchased these binoculars for astronmical viewing.I already own a pair of 15x70 Celestron Skymasters that were puchased for the same use,the only issue is that they are heavy and very difficult to keep steady without a tripod.I did some research and decided that the Celestron 10x50s were a good choice based on price, portability and weight without compromising to much in the way of power.I have had them out multiple times so far and have been very pleased with their performance. The only disappointing thing about them is the neck strap. The neck strap is very narrow and is uncomfortable against the bare skin.I would recommend purchasing a better neck strap to compliment a very nice pair of binoculars. Read more

[...]. I took the contents out and made sure they were all in good condition. Not only were they in good condition, but the quality was far above my expectations. I took the lens caps off the binocs and let the lenses warm to room temperature and de-fog. its not a secret that the materials used are not top-of the line, but they aren't plastic either (except the focus, but that's to be expected). a quick glance of the lenses showed they were without anomaly, and peering at the exit pupil, i was suprised how bright it was, and to see full circles with bold edges. considering the prism is bk7, i was impressed by this; it shows they put a lot of work into craftsmanship to make up for the materials. when i finally looked through it, it took me a few minutes to get it fully focused on something, but once the eyepieces were set, the focus is easy, smooth, and intuitive. Even in daylight, i find objects are brighter than they are with my eyes. Just looking out my balcony window, i am seeing m

If you need high quality binoculars at a very low price these are perfect. They are easy to grab out of the case and easy to hold onto ,for those times when you want to see something far off quickly. The image is crisp and bright.I highly recommend. Read more

I live in Nevada and use it for checking out the topography in the area I am visiting. A lot of beautiful scenery to see and specific sights I would miss without these Binoculars. Brings the view up close and allows you to see it. Easy to focus and inexpensive. Won't break your wallet. Read more

I was skeptical because of the low price. I am happy with the product. The focus action is a bit stiff, but I am hoping it will loosen up with use. For a full size bino, the weight is good. The neck strap is not comfortable - but the carry bag fits nicely on my shoulder. Read more
