I bought the GE Stacking Kit, to put a 3 year old GE dryer, onto a 12 year old Frigidaire Washer. The Frigidaire stacking kit was useless, as Frigidaire makes them for their new washers, that are curved in front. But even if I had a GE washer, I am not sure this kit would work correctly. The kit comes with two folded, white brackets to screw into the back of the washer and dryer, and four hard (but flexible) rubber pads - that stick to the bottom of the dryer, and rest on top of the washer (with its metal top still on - no need to remove the top of the washer). But the pads are not tall enough to accommodate the height of the bracket as well as the head of the screws that go into it!!! Big Flaw! Also, the instructions tell you to screw the brackets into holes, already in the dryer. Well there were NO such screw holes in my dryer, let alone the washer. The adhesive backing on the rubber feet came right off immediately. It was not strong enough to stick on the bottom of the dryer, making you have to tape them on separately, which was unfortunate. Read more

This product was easy to install and very sturdy without being bulky. The adhesion on the pads was too light, we had to use superglue to get them to actually stay on. Everything else works exactly as described and directions were simple to follow. Read more

Cheapest place I found it online, and it worked great with my GE profile front load washer/dryer. It doesn't have to do much but fit, and it does that great, so now my washer/dryer fit in my condo, until my lease is up and I can move to a bigger place and unstack them. :) Read more

We paid ABT to have the new GE washer/dryer stacked. It definately gave us more room in the laundry room. BUT-washer/dryer now are EXTREMELY wobbley & NOISY. I would like them to unstack, but they want to charge me again! I would do this myself, but don't have the manpower. Read more
