Help - my Keurig quit after 4 months

I descaled the unit once after first 2 months use - no problem - Keurig performed perfectly. Light indicated descaling required again after second two month period - so I followed exact Keurig descaling procedure again. This time - pump won't prime - it starts to heat but stops immediately (within 2 seconds) - no water reaches heating tank - therefore no blue light ever appears - and we cannot brew coffee. Someone suggested we force water into heating tank with a "turkey baster" - we attempted 4-5 times - no benefit - now stuck with a beautiful-looking machine that won't make coffee. Please help! This genius machine is the best thing since sliced bread. We are not big coffee people, but the hot cocoa that the roaster makes is UNBElIEVABLE! We drink it every morning. It is so convient to just pull down the lever, and your drink is ready when you are. Wonderful size makes it easy to fit in kitchens without getting in the way. It accommodates all mug sizes (atleast the ones in our house) The setting to choose whether you would like a "large" or "small" is absolutely genius. My children used to always leave some in their cup that would go to waste. Now they have the perfect portion! I just love this. We love it so much, when we go on road trips--we hook it up to our car! This machine after 8 reservoirs of water still has a rubber burnt taste in the brewed coffee,I called Keurig costomer service and would not help, I explained to them that after 348 oz of use the coffee or just plain hot water had a burnt rubber taste,also small black pieces of plastic was in my cup. The machine had a burning smell coming from it.I wasted 32 K-cups, had to dump all the coffee this machine brewed..I will return this defective machine from the retailer i purchased it from... I used to make coffee in a percolater...Subsequently ended up throwing a lot away....not so with the Keurig...had a cup of coffee at my daughters house which was made in a Keurig.....asked her about it and ordered one the next day...saves me time and money....all the females in my family have one and think it is the greatest product. I am planning to buy one as a gift for Christmas and recently bought one as a bridal shower gift. The best part is having such a huge selection of Kcups to choose from....something for everybody....I also use it for tea, hot chocolate and making chicken broth when I am not feeling well. It's so easy to use all of my grandchildren can make their own hot chocolate, coffee, tea or whatever they want. Read more

This is the best coffee maker I've ever owned! I love it! Every time I have house guests, my guests love the coffee maker. Two out the last three house guests have bought one (one bought theirs the day they returned home!), and the third guest plans to buy one for their office. The coffee maker does seem a little loud when you are standing next to it, but it has never woken up anyone in the house. It is so simple to make coffee - no matter how sleepy you are when you're making it. No more spilling coffee grounds! The Green Mountain Coffees are wonderful - I think the Extra Bold is better for most coffee drinkers, and the regular coffees better for those who like their coffee a little weaker. The B-40 doesn't give you the option for different sizes of coffee, but for me the 6 oz cup is the perfect size for the right strength cup of coffee. Read more
