I was very curious about this camera in the recent sales ad because usually things that are cheaper than normal are junk, but I was very surprised by this product. My 7 yr old Daughter has begged for a camera for 2 years now and being only 7 I'm not going to go spend alot of money for something that could be lost or mishandled but I wanted one that she would really be able to enjoy and be proud of. This camera really does work great I was so suprised! It does have flash option, 5MP resolution, 1.5" LCD Screen which is very clear and 8X zoom which can get you pretty close. I hope this helps all you parents who may also be debating to about this. Sorry I can't tell you how well my daughter likes it yet but it's for her Birthday so I pre-tested it before she got her hopes up opening it and it didn't work. Now I know I can give it to her with confidence and know that she is really going to enjoy this!! Read more

My soon to be 7 year daughter has had this for over 6 months (it actually cost more when we bought it for her). It works fine. I don't know what other people are complaining about. It takes good pictures, very easy to use and download perfectly. We bought a SD memory card so she can click away whenever she wants. Also, we used RECHARGABLE batteries so we don't have to worry about replacing. Read more

I thought I would get this camera for my 11 year daughter. I thought this would be perfect because it was somewhat inexpensive at [$] for the camera and It would be easy for her to use, and if it broke or got lost it wouldn't be a big deal. I could tell the moment we took the camera out of the package that it was poor quality. I couldn't belevie it. It felt like it was made of plastic. When you tried to take a picure with the flash, it completly washed out the entire picture and you couldn't see a thing. If you didn't use the flash, it would be so dark you couldn't see a thing either. You had to wait until the camera was ready to take another picture, which seemed like forever. Very dissiappointed with the product. I returned to toys r us right away and got my daughter a real digital camera. It doesn't pay to go cheap on electronics!!! Read more

I read the reviews and purchased the camera for my daughter for Christmas. I am very disappointed. Pictures are very grainy. Takes bad night shots very blurry in low light. I'll keep working with it but my suggestion is go for a good camera that goes on sale. This one is not worth the money. With that being said my daughter is 7 years old and she is delighted that Santa gave her a camera. She has used daily and can't wait to take pictures of her freinds. She is happy and the bottom line is that what I wanted. Just wish I would have spent an extra [...] and purchased a nicer camera. Oh, well live and learn....... Read more
