trying to buy jockey undershirts has been a guessing game since several years ago and very frustrating. they clearly changed their sizing, probably to accomodate the fact that so many americans are obese. the "regular" (my word) undershirt that was reliable forever, is now too wide for us men who aren't fatties. you also have to be a mindreader to guess what the marketing on the package means. "modern fit" is completely non-descriptive, yet apparently is a polite way of saying "this is catered to today's fat man." there also seem to be quality control issues because i bought two packs of the regular fit that have totally different lenghths after like two washes.
so i still am looking and recently became optimistic finding the "trim fit" which i believe i read is "online only" but upon receiving that order, it is too long. i will return it, and give the outlet store another visit but i am not optimistic. Read more

These trim fit t-shirts are great in every aspect except length. I am 6'2" 180 lbs and I like to wear close fitting undershirts that are not baggy and have a high, crisp collar. I got the size large when I usually wear a medium. The fit was good all around except for the length. I dislike very much when my t-shirts come untucked out of my jeans but unfortunately that's waht kept happening. If I get the XL then it might be longer but not snug fitting around my body. I wear undershirts everyday with a collard, button up shirt and on the weekends just a t-shirt to lounge around in or work around the house or car. Shirts that constantly become untucked don't cut it for me. Had to return and ask for refund. I even got an extra set for my Dad as he is a longtime Jockey wearer but he is taller than me by 2" so I knew they wouldn't work. Read more

I would have to disagree with most of these reviews. Measured myself just to be sure I wasn't crazy. I have a 39" chest a 32" waist and am 45.5" around the shoulders, I'm only 5'9" 155lbs so I'm not a big guy. Pre-wash these shirts were soft, thin, and very tight around my shoulders and lats/arm pits length was a concern as well. Tag says wash warm, dry medium, I washed cold and dried low. The result was a shirt that I could only wear comfortably if I quit working out, and stopped eating. Still too thin, not as soft, too short and too tight in the upper torso. I expected a tighter mid section not an overall smaller shirt. Not impressed with the quality of the shirt, maybe QA issues are responsible for conflicting reviews. Good idea - poor execution Read more

I used to wear the regular fit Jockey t in large before they changed the sizing to accomidate beefier guys. Found this trim fit online and ordered a large. Perfect fit for my 5'11", 167#, 42 chest, medium build, lean frame. Also picked up a 3-pack at the outlet store, but all from that pack are too short. So stick to ordering them online if length is a concern. Jockey, please start making these in a v-neck also. I'm convinced you will have the medium frame guy niche cornered if you do, as it seems all men's clothing is made for fatties these days... Read more
