BORING COLOR!

WORLD IN SHADES OF GRAY-NOT! from SAN FRANCISCO, CA

I would have thought the "25th Anniversary Care Bear" to Wow me off my feet, but, as you can see..it's very plain (white, some silver) and the color is quite boring. It is my understanding that the creative/designer team wanted to give this bear the "traditional" 25th Anniversary colors-SILVER! I guess the "50th Anniversary Care Bear" will feature the traditional "GOLD" when it makes it's debut in about another 25 years! :-)I think that the bear is adorable, but it looks like 12 other bears I saw in the stores, the traditional "pure, winter white holiday bears that are delivered throughout the nation on or near Christmas come a dime a dozen.I'm afraid that the "25th Anniversary Care Bear" lacks the beautiful colors of the "rainbow"!Care Bears are well-known for their beautiful array of colors and their "unique" characters.This bear is of excellent quality (Silver heart-shaped nose & 2-tiny Swarovski crystal eyes); however, it does lack "color" appeal (kids love color...it attracts the … Read more

this doesn't get better then this. i saw this on [@] i loved the new care bear gold. i have always love care bear all of my life. growing up and seeing them again was the best of my life. my care bear collections is growing up alot and i am running out of room in my bedroom for the care bear collections. i got over 100 care bear big and small and including the 8 anniversary care bear. i like all the care bear anniversary. now i got 8 care bear 25th anniversary. there are cheerbear, bedtime bear, funshine care bear, tenderheart care bear with the silver heart, share bear, love-a-lot care bear and 2 heart of gold care bear. you better get them before they are all gone. i never open my anniversary care bear. i keep them in a box so i don't mess up my collectors. I have been waiting for this all my life ever since it came out. But now I finally have the care bears 25th anniversary. I said to my self oh my gosh it here the one I really wanted. Was the white bear and pink bear I have always dream. But now it finally in my bedroom for me to look at. It joined it friends and cousins in my bedroom. I have over 100 care bears and care bears cousins big and small. I also got the bedtime bear and share bear 25th anniversary to my collections. I am a care bears lover and collectors. I would buy all the care bears until I have all of them in my bedroom. My favorite care bear is love-alot-bear because she has a nice color to her. All of my care bears 25th collectors is in the box for display only. I would never ever open the box. Because I would like to keep it in a box for decorative only. The box is way to nice for me to open it. I really don't want to mess up my care bears it is way to nice. Read more

i am glad i got the care bears. i have been a fans of care bears when i was young in the '80s. i got over 100 care bears big and small. the are 8 care bears 25th anniversary. there are tenderheart with the silver heart, love-a-lot, bedtime bear, share bear, funshine bear, cheer bear, and 2 new care bears and they are 2 gold tender heart care bears. i am glad i got all the care bears for my collections.i really don't like to take my 25th anniversary out. i really like to keep the care bears safe from damaging it. all the care bears are in my bedroom for me to see and look at them. get your care bears before they are gone.
