Unhappy with this product. Mac user, accompanying software mini-disk doesn't fit slot loaded Mac (despite package labeling). Went to website on package (nothing in instruction book about customer service or troubleshooting), [@], found software download. Does not download correctly from site until several attempts. Once downloaded, software either freezes when opening icon & locks computer, or comes up with icon which says "you must hold down power button and turn off your computer" in 5 different languages. Four hours later, stuck in a do loop. Not easy, not intuitive, not user-friendly. Looks cheap and rickety, too, notice lots of complaints from folks who breathed on theirs & they no longer worked. I purchased the 4-pack for gifts and to keep one for myself. I was bothered after I purchased and saw the other review under this item but ultimately was surprised! If you follow the instructions (i.e. charging the keychains first and then loading pics) it's super easy to install, load pics and use this keychain. The only thing I would say is that the backlight could be built in as a separate button because it turns off after just a few seconds if you don't constantly push the button to "slide" the pics. As for the quality of the pictures I had some pics of my computer that I had scanned in and they appeared a bit grainy on my computer screen but after loading one onto the keychain it was clearer than the computer. Very nice quality. The software that comes with the keychains was very basic and the icon on your desktop looks awful if you have a digital screen, you have to work to "crop" pictures because there is no manual on how to do this and I just happened to do it without meaning t … Read more

Pros: Nice little photo viewer, very compact but with good picture quality. Very easy to use, has simple and clear controls and screen guide. Program to download photos to the viewer couldn't be simpler - find the file where your photos are, click on each one (there's a preview of each photo as you click on it's file number, very nice) and click on an arrow to move it over to the download screen. Then just click on Sync, and in a few seconds, they're on your viewer, ready to show off to friends. Best photos to download are closeups if possible, as objects in the distance in a photo are harder to see on the viewing screen. Cons: It will sometimes cut off a small part of a photo to make it fit on the screen (not a big deal). Overall: Great gift for new parents or grandparents, who would love to show off the kids! Clear picture, ease of use and small size make this a great value for the price. Read more

I purchased two of these keychains as gifts for my mother and mother-in-law for Christmas. The one I got my mother-in-law worked fine, but the one I gave my mom was defective. She was unable to upload pictures into the keychain as it kept freezing at the upload point. Also never got a green light when done charging....always stayed red. Thankfully, I purchased the 2 yr. protection plan for both of them, so my mom should be able to replace it hopefully, hassle free. My mother-in-law loves hers that works and said it was very nice and a great way to have her photos with her to share wherever she goes. It seems like it was a great gift, but I would highly recommend purchasing the protection plan as it seems to be a 50/50 from other reviews I've read, and my own experience, that there could be something defective with it. I have to admit, I didn't intend on writing a review on this item because I think it speaks for itself, but after seeing what the previous person wrote, I had to write something. I had ordered this item to give as a gift for a couple people in my office. Once i saw how great it really was, I had to come back online and order more as gifts and for myself. We were setting it up in the office and it worked perfectly. The set up disk, made it easy to use and it was a simple plug and play item! We took some pictures from our office party and have loaded it up with pictures! We still have 2 of these items in our office hanging on the Christmas Wall and it's fun to stop by and take a look at the pictures from the party. For the price of this item and value, I couldn't be more happy with this keychain! Read more
