This was actually my first experience with TDK CD-R's, as I don't use too many. I go through hundreds of DVD's though and swear by TDK, so when it came time to find some CD-Rs, the logical choice was these. As with the DVD's, these are just as reliable and have not given me any coasters. More than anything though is the way the CD is designed, so that there are no intrusive logos plastered all over it - leaving you plenty of room to write and label the disc. Between this and the reliability, I can't fathom why anyone would choose another brand, even if you end up having to pay a little extra. Read more

This is the industry standard, so why use anything else? Admittedly, TDKs are somewhat difficult to find. Tiger has the best everday price, and always has them in stock. Believe me, I've searched the Web and this is true. You can only find them cheaper elsewhere when there's a sale, and quite often you have to be quick, because they'll sell out early in the sale. So don't use no-name brands. Use the best. Read more
