I was really excited about getting this toaster b/c it matches my Kitchenaid Mixer; plus; the price was great. But I was disappointed with the inner spring that causes the toast to pop up when ready. The spring is so weak that the toast only pops up half way. You have to manually pull up the press down lever to raise it all the way up. The light weight of two slices of bread are still too heavy for the spring to pop them up all the way. Not a huge deal but it is when things are supposed to work correctly. Read more
