I love to layer up, put on my shell and hit the slopes. I also hate to get cold and have a part of me freezing in the wind, screwing up the day. If this happens, it has always been my face. I bought this to avoid that and it has worked great. I prefer it to a fleece neck. With a helmet, some goggles, you will look like a bionic soldier from the future. I don't know if that is the best look, but it will keep you from freezing. The size was a little small. I ended up with buying two. I have a normal/small head and medium was too small for me. I would have rated this product N/A as I have no problems with the quality of the item. I would like to see face masks in light colors, black makes a person look like a suspicious robber. The shipping to try out an item is so high, that a person hesitates buying on-line. Read more

I have had the chance to use this mask several times in the cold Minnesota winter. Recently we have been having -25 temps with windchill around -40. Add that with wind and it is cold!! Overall, I am happy with this mask as it is doing exactly what I needed it too!!It fits well and I have not had any issues with it!! Read more

I've always had problems with the normal neck gaiter things (turtle fur etc.) because I couldn't breath when I was doing anything steep. This thing is completely windproof, so it's great when it's blowing, but it allows you to breath easily with either your mouth or nose. Definitely your best bet for covering your face from the wind/snow. Read more
