The only feature missing on this calculator is a set of functions to convert SAE to Metric (inches to meters). I purchased this calculator for my children primarily so they could scroll back and see their previous equation and because it shows the equation as it's entered (8 x 8 = 64). For my young kids this is a huge bonus to see and help them to understand. If it only had a function built-in to convert "2 meters" to inches, then it would be perfect. Read more

I had an older edition of this calculator that only recently died after about 10 years of use. I've used it throughout high school and college and even now in pharmacy school. This calculator will be more than sufficient for math up to and including calculus. Unlike other maker of scientific calculators that I would not mention, this one has all its commands in buttons instead of menus. Therefore, even if you misplace the manual, you can use this calculator with ease. Also, (solar power with battery as back up power) you will not need to replace the battery for a long time.
