        Philips added an antenna for the next generation because this model has limited range, and some issues with reception.  As long as you keep the emitter cables away from other cables (especially AC), it&apos;s capable for short range operation (about 40&apos;).  Interference from other cables can cause problems, wire maintenance and signal isolation are the solution.
