This vase is very nice, but from the picture I thought it was ceramic, its really like a plastic so its very light. Its good in my situation with having dogs running around so if it gets knocked over I don't have to worry about it breaking. It doesn't look plastic though, it is very nice looking. The product is exactly as pictured and described. We purchased two and they enhance the room devoted to our concert grand piano. They are lightweight and were fairly easy to assemble (put the floral arrangement into the vase). They look great! We are very happy with the purchase. Read more

The bamboo vase looks great! Although the word bamboo should be deleted and plastic added, if you want to purchase a great looking vase please do so-- you won't be disappointed --but don't touch it or pick it up because it definitely feels cheap. Read more
